The Key Challenge
The challenge was allowing drivers to edit the ride amount while managing finances effectively. Standard fare calculation is based on Base, Duration, and Distance Charges — allowing drivers to modify these rates could lead to discrepancies. The solution: we predefined a limit by which drivers can increase the ride amount, reflecting factors like traffic or route variation, and implemented a robust auditing mechanism to prevent exploitation.
