The client wanted a revolutionary On-Demand Delivery application designed to cater to a broad range of customer needs, from food and groceries to essential items. They aimed to disrupt the market by providing a superior user experience and sought our expertise to turn their vision into reality. The platform needed to support three distinct user roles — customers placing orders, drivers handling deliveries with real-time navigation, and vendors managing their menus and order flows — all within a single cohesive system.

Background Location Tracking Without Policy Violations
The biggest challenge was building a background location tracking solution for delivery drivers that did not violate App Store and Play Store policies or compromise user privacy — while ensuring the application delivered accurate, real-time location data even when not in active use.
The team developed a robust background location tracking system that works within Apple and Google's allowed use-case frameworks, using foreground service patterns and proper permission flows. Drivers receive accurate location updates continuously while maintaining full compliance with store policies and user privacy standards.
Tri-Panel App Architecture (Customer, Driver, Vendor)
Building a cohesive platform with three distinct apps — a customer ordering app, a driver delivery app with live navigation, and a vendor management panel — each with different UX requirements but all sharing the same real-time backend state.
We designed a shared Laravel backend serving role-specific API endpoints for each panel. The customer app focuses on discovery and ordering, the driver app on navigation and delivery management, and the vendor app on menu, inventory, and order fulfillment — all synchronized through a real-time event bus.
Multi-Category Delivery (Food, Groceries, Essentials)
Supporting delivery across multiple product categories — food, groceries, and essential items — with different handling requirements, vendor types, and order management workflows, all within a single unified platform experience.
We built a flexible product catalog system supporting multiple vendor and category types, each with configurable order flows and delivery rules. Customers see a unified browsing and checkout experience regardless of category, while the backend handles category-specific logistics correctly.
